Dodgers Vs Padres 8/3/2020

The Los Angeles Dodgers had a tough loss last night to the San Diego Padres. Again, many players are unable to get their bats going, especially Max Muncy and Kike Hernandez, who shone the first few games of the season and have slowed down.

Walker Buehler——-> Buehler did not have the best start last night giving up 3 hits, all of them solo HR’d by Grisham, Myers, and Tatis Jr. During his 5 innings of work he was only able to strikeout three and also had three walks, lets see if Buehler can bounce back in his next start.

Offense——> I don’t have much to say about our offense, we were hitting the ball, we had two home runs, who were by Joc Pederson, and the other from Cody Bellinger. Our other two runs were sent home by a 2-RBI Double by Will Smith, many players did not hit the ball well tonight who included Muncy, Turner, Pollock, and Chris Taylor, who all recorded 0 hits.

The Dodgers look to take back a game tonight against the Padres in the second game of the series! Go Dodgers!

Dodgers vs Diamondbacks 8/2/20

The Los Angeles Dodgers stifled the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon at Chase Field In Arizona, Cody Bellinger and Mookie Betts both hit homers to back up Kershaw strong outing.

Clayton Kershaw——> Clayton Kershaw made his 2020 debut for the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday afternoon against the Diamondbacks. He pitched really nicely giving up only 2 hits in 5.2 innings pitched. Those hits belonged to Kole Calhoun and Cristian Walker. Kershaw gave up no runs in those innings that he pitched. After Kershaw’s strong outing, will he keep it up and maybe even be a cy young candidate? It’s a bit early to know but if he keeps that up he could easily be in the cy young talk.

Cody Bellinger——> Cody Bellinger launched a 2-Run shot in the first inning giving the dodgers an early 2-0 lead against the dbacks. That is his first homer of the year. Bellinger was out of the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Diamondbacks, after he was batting under .150. And his first at bat from his day off he ripped a line drive that got out of there in a scurry! How many homers do you think he will hit this season? (Vote in poll on my Instagram)

Mookie Betts——> Mookie Betts hit his second homer of the year giving the Dodgers a 3-0 lead! The ball was crushed to the opposite field and landed in the pool in right field. Mookie Betts has been dominating for the Dodgers the past couple of games. Will he be able to keep or even pick up the pace that he is going at? (Not to mention he also hit a double)
